There is no deadline to sign up, shares are renewable until December, when we ask that you use them up. Please keep in mind January - May shares make the most difference to our farm business.

Green Spark's Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) share provides a bonus to local consumers who invest in our farm early in the spring. The CSA shareholders become a part of our farm, funding spring cash-flow when our farm costs are highest starting up the season, lending a hand with major harvests like winter squash, potatoes and garlic, and making decisions on what our farm will grow the following year. Together we forge a network and participate in our own local food system, getting to know each other along the way.

Here's How Our CSA Works:

Members receive 10% in credit added to your investment redeemable all summer at our farm stand at 316 Fowler Rd., Cape Elizabeth, or at our market stand at the Portland Farmers' Market on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

For every $100, you receive 10% extra in credit ($110).
• $200 gets you $220 in credit
• $300 gets you $330 in credit
• $500 gets you $550 in credit

Members choose the site they plan to attend most often. CSA members may use their credit at both locations; we ask that you make a choice so we can plan for Cape Elizabeth parking, etc.

Farm Share members redeem their credit shopping at our 'help yourself' farm stand, 316 Fowler Rd., Cape Elizabeth, open 7 days a week 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., June - Thanksgiving.

Market Share members redeem their credit at our market stand at the Portland Farmers' Market on Wednesdays 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Saturdays 7 a.m. to Noon, Memorial Day - Thanksgiving. Market Share runs in the summertime until the last Portland outdoor market.

Everything we grow is Certified Organic by MOFGA Certification Services, LLC. We started with local networking and the support of MOFGA's new farmer program, the Journeyperson Program. We've grown from farming out of an apartment, to leasing 15 acres in Cape Elizabeth and farming full-time. We now live in South Portland on Meetinghouse Hill, and have a short ride to the farmland where we thrive. Starting our new farm business is the best job we've ever had! We owe our successes to our dedicated regular customers for their feedback and friendship, our farmer-mentors for teaching us high quality standards, and our community for demanding local organic vegetables!
